Family Bowling Center offers 24 lanes with automatic scoring, bumper lanes for children, a large game room and banquet facilities. This center, also, offers a cosmic bowling experience with lights and music. Family Bowling Center hosts numerous league, regional and state bowling tournaments for the mens, womens and youth associations.
Tournaments are held at Rogers Sports Complex.
Due to a devasting fire on January 18, 2016, The Bat Cave and all of the equipment was lost. We anticipate efforts will be made to relocated and replace as much equipment as possible. The Bat Cave, located on Central Avenue, has batting cages, pitching mounds and other practice areas.
The Fort Dodge Country Club is a private golf course voted "Iowa's 18 Hole Course of the Year" twice. It features a large practice tee, an area to practice downhill, uphill, and side hill lies, four target greens surrounded by bunkers, a separate lesson tee, three chipping greens, a putting green, and two practice bunkers. Their PGA Professional has a very active teaching program for all golfers. It hosts several golf leagues and tournaments every season.

Frontier Sports Park is an action packed motorsport venue, UTV & ATC racing, concerts and more. Iowa’s newest Motorsport venue. The speedway is a 1/2 mile dirt surface with a10 degree banking.
Golf Central helps players stay on-the-top of their game through the winter season by providing a close to real-life the experience with a PGA Simulator, indoor driving range and short game area. Golf Central offers league play, golf shop, custom fitting, repair and professional lessons.
Rogers Sports Complex is a 100 acre venue with 11 Softball & Baseball Fields, 13 Soccer fields, Hall of Fame ticket building, Boulevard of Champions entrance, 4 permanent concession stands, 4 permanent restroom facilities and a 600+ car capacity parking area. Mini Majors fields are youth fields depicting Yankee, Wrigley, Dodger & Veterans Fields. Diamonds 1 & 2 has air conditioned press boxes, new bleachers with ramps and seating for the disabled. This complex is the home fields for the Ft Dodge Community Schools, St. Edmonds Catholic Schools, Iowa Central Community College, Ft Dodge Baseball Association, Ft Dodge USSSA Girls Fastpitch Association, Ft Dodge Slow Pitch Association, and Ft Dodge Soccer Association. It has hosted theIowa Girls High School State Softball Tournament since 1970.

The Iowa Outdoors Store is a locally owned and operated business which takes great pride in the hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation lifestyle. The Iowa Outdoors Store has a 30+ yard, 3D, indoor archery range located within the store. Open shooting is available on a first come, first serve basis during normal business hours. The Iowa Outdoors Store hosts ladies, men and paper archery leagues as well as numerous tournaments throughout December-March.
Lakeside Municipal Golf course is a public 18 hole course which includes a long & straight front nine with a short & narrow back nine. The course has a driving range, clubhouse with pro shop, concessions and a deck. Multiple tournaments and special events happen at Lakeside throughout the season.
During the fall months of September-November, Lakeside is well known for its cross country course. It is the home of the Iowa High School Cross Country Championships which draws the Iowa's best high school runners to Fort Dodge. It has, also, had the honor of hosting the 2013 and 2015 National Junior College Athletic Association-Division 1-National Cross Country Championships.
This unique ball park, situated in southeast Fort Dodge, is designed for young baseball players. The cool shade from towering oak trees and the peaceful tranquility of the area make Patterson field a favorite gathering spot for families to watch their youngsters play baseball. Established in 1968 by Jerry Patterson, Patterson Field provides numerous baseball opportunities for all levels of baseball players in North Central Iowa.
Ridgewood Lanes is a 16-lane Brunswick house featuring a lounge and full bar. It, also, offers Laser Tag. Next door to Ridgewood Lanes is Stiles Bowling Supplies. It has hosted multiple league, regional and state bowling tournaments for the mens, womens and youth associations.
Willow Ridge Golf Course is a 9 hole, 2722 yard Par 37 golf course The course starts with a beautiful elevated tee box and ends with a picturesque Par 3 hitting over a small pond and hitting on to a newly renovated greens. It hosts a variety of golf leagues. Willow Ridge Restaurant is a 170 seat restaurant and event center which is open to the public.
